I was recently over at a friend's apartment admiring his suede shoes. They looked elegant, but not too formal, comfortable, but not like gym shoes, and boat shoe-esque, but with a real sole that wouldn't fall apart walking around Manhattan.
I went home to search for them online but sadly couldn't find the exact pair. I did however stumble across this article from Dappered.com that was saying that every man should have a pair of suede shoes this fall:
"Suede doesn’t handle precipitation the best, but it still looks all kinds of right in fall. The soft texture of suede looks warm. And the muted/matte appearance is in line with other fall fabrics and materials."
